Reading agree fee for Mills

Leicester City have agreed a transfer fee with Reading for Royals' defender Matthew Mills.

The 24-year old is now believed to be travelling to Leicestershire to speak about personal terms with Foxes' manager Sven Goran Eriksson.

Mills has impressed many commentators during his 61-game stint at the Madejski Stadium, where he contributed with four important goals. Born in Swindon, Mills cut his cloth at Southampton and made loan appearances for Coventry City and Bournemouth, before moving to Manchester City in 2006.

Whilst at Eastlands he made just two appearances but had successful loan spells at Colchester United and Doncaster Rovers before moving to the Keepmoat Stadium on a permanent basis, making nearly 80 appearances for Rovers before joining Reading for a fee exceeding £2 million.
