Of Fosse and Foxes was created in 2007 by Tim Nutt and Luke Smalley, two students at school in Leicestershire and avid Leicester City supporters. Having gone to university, the site fell into some disrepair but was rescued by Tim after he re-found his love for the Foxes following their relegation to League One in 2008. He began to blog again in the 2009/10 season, using BBC Leicester's coverage online in order to keep up with the City whilst away at university.
From humble beginnings as an occasional blog, Of Fosse and Foxes has grown into a timely news service, offering exclusively-written content purely focussed on the goings-on at Leicester City. With popular 'Conclusions from...' articles in place of standard match reports, reflections on transfer news and other events, it is now so much more than a blog and offers a podcast in addition to its written content. Of Fosse and Foxes may not always be first with the news but it remains on the pulse throughout the year - including in the off-season, when other football sites go quiet on news from a second division club from the East Midlands.
Tim now works as a teacher in the same Leicestershire town where Of Fosse and Foxes was born and spends too much spare time dedicated to the maintenance of the website. His passion for the Foxes burns more brightly than ever and, back home, he is now able to report on events first-hand as a part-time reporter and photographer dedicated to following City.
Thank you for reading, and up the Foxes.
