Hobbs completes permanent deal with Tigers

Jack Hobbs has, an anticipated, completed a three-year permanent deal to move to Hull City.

The Liverpool-born defender joined former Foxes' boss Nigel Pearson on a three-month loan last season and Pearson's desire to capture the 22-year-old led to his signing for the Tigers for an undisclosed fee last night.

Hobbs made 130 appearances for Leicester City after being signed on loan by Pearson in 2008. After a highly successful season, Hobbs signed a three-year contract at the Walkers Stadium but became unhappy after losing his first team place in Sven Goran Eriksson's side and made the switch to the KC Stadium in January.
