The 31-year-old winger has been widely linked with a potential move to the King Power Stadium since former Hull City boss Nigel Pearson rejoined Leicester last season, but Koren is set to secure a new deal with the Tigers and turn-down the prospect of joining his former boss with the Foxes.
Tigers' manager Steve Bruce said at the start of the month that he will not be held to ransom by Leicester over the player but the Foxes are understood to have activated a £500,000 release clause in Koren's contract, allowing him the freedom to choose which club he signs a contract with. The talented winger has featured in pre-season for Hull and, having been impressed with Bruce's efforts to retain his services on Humberside, it seems Leicester City are set to miss-out on their main transfer target of the summer.
