Jeffrey Schlupp has confirmed that an injury sustained in yesterday's 0-0 draw at Nottingham Forest will result in him being sidelined for at least eight weeks.
The Ghanaian international injured his knee in a challenge within the first three minutes of the FA Cup third round tie and was substituted in the fifth minute. Schlupp had a scan this morning an confirmed the news on Twitter.
"Scan went better than I thought it would," said the 19-year-old striker, "Looking at around 8 weeks hopefully!"
He ended his tweet with the hashtag, "#FingersCrossed".
