Foxes seal Morgan deal

Leicester City are set to confirm the capture of Nottingham Forest centre-half Wes Morgan, according to Sky Sports.

Morgan is thought to have penned at two-and-a-half year deal at the King Power Stadium in a move worth up to a million pounds.

The 28-year-old has played-out his entire career to date with Forest but was linked with a move away from the City Ground earlier in the month. He has made over 350 appearances for the Nottingham club since graduating from the club's academy in 2002.

Morgan will add valuable depth to Nigel Pearson's thin squad and strength to a defence that has been hampered with inconsistency throughout this season. However, the acquisition of Morgan has raised questions that Sol Bamba - currently on international duty with the Ivory Coast at the Africa Cup of Nations - could be set for a departure.

Meanwhile, sources close to the club have indicated that a fee has been agreed with Stoke City for winger Ben Marshall.
